Books started during the past few days, II.
This one is hilarrrriously misrepresented by its cover, I think. I picked it up not knowing much about it except that it’s gotten some buzz and that it has photographs in (I can’t resist an illustrated tome, you know), and was expecting like…neo-Victorian ooky-spooky ghost nonsense.
So far, it’s…not that. At all. It’s so much better.
