ihavetheomnitrix: Teacher Tip of the Day: Did you know that all books are fundamentally breaking down. As they break down they produce acid which in turn causes the book to break down faster. The interesting part of this fact is the hallucinogenic mould that grows on very, very old books. Fungus spores are given off which actually have a very powerful hallucinogenic affect on humans. There are many interesting trains of thought from prominent researchers suggesting that this may have been the main source of inspiration for a large percentage of our most popular writers, scholars and philosophers. No wonder I love the smell of books so much!
