Week 32 (8/5-8/11): The 39 Clues, Cahills vs Vespers, Book Three: The Dead of Night by Peter Lerangis (192 pages)
Thoughts: Another 39 Clues book! Again, I really love the characters of Amy and Dan, although AJT brings a whole new element into the story. Also, Nellie just kicks rear end all over and is just amazing as usual. It’s exciting, and I really need to go out and buy the next book(s)! I really loved the Islamic history in this book - a good chunk of it is set in Uzbekistan and Turkey. It was great.
Quote: “With it, every decision was clear. Every enemy was doomed. Every mystery yielded to utter clarity.”
Read-o-meter: 7.9 (It’s a really great series. Really.)
(My eyebrows look really prominent in this picture hm.)
