Someone come read to me
I finally started reading Life of Pi and (no surprise) it’s really good. It has been on my list for years and Robin (my amazing VISTA supervisor) randomly bought me a copy because we had been talking about it and she knew I wanted to read it (also because she’s the greatest person ever, but you all probably know that by now). Anyway, as I was saying, it’s fantastic so far. The problem is that I closed tonight at the end of an 8 hour shift so I’m exhausted (sidebar: why is it that 8 hours of retail work feels a million times longer than 8 hours of desk work? It’s the strangest thing). At any rate, I need someone to come read to me so that I can read and sleep at the same time.

that is more than half the reason I invest in audiobooks. I love to be read to, and can’t sleep without listening to one
